The Atlantic Surfing Federation is a non-profit organization, committed to promoting and implementing a modern, progressive surfing program for all members and ability levels. The ASF seeks to instill discipline, environmental awareness, positive values of fair play, and good sportsmanship in all its members, while encouraging and guiding their development in the area of competitive surfing.

The ASF is a member of Surfing America, the recognized National Governing Body for surfing in the United States. The ASF will carry out the programs of Surfing America in order to qualify East Coast surfers for the Surfing America Prime Series, USA Championships, and the PacSun USA Surf Team. The NY-NJ Chapter of the ASF will implement the amateur program of the ASF in the states of New York and New Jersey.

The Atlantic Surfing Federation is an IRS recognized 501(c) 3 charitable organization. All donations made to the Atlantic Surfing Federation are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law. Donation checks should be made payable to: Atlantic Surfing Federation, Inc, 141 Beach 122nd Street, Rockaway Park, NY   11694. End of year tax receipts are sent to every individual donor of more than $250. For donations under $250, a canceled check or credit card statement is sufficient evidence for IRS purposes. The Atlantic Surfing Federation will send any donor a tax receipt upon request.

In accordance with Surfing America’s established membership criteria, ASF has adopted Surfing America’s online membership registration system. As a result, all ASF members will simultaneously become members of both organizations at the time of registration and will be eligible to qualify into Surfing America events. A Surfing America membership entitles you to a 20% discount on all PacSun purchases.
